- Operating System- Pick your preferred operating system, between Apple iOS, Google Android or Microsoft Windows. We all have our favorites, stick to the one you know and love.
- Resolution- Look for a screen with excellent resolution and very little reflectiveness that is just right for reading or movies. The Alcatel Pixi 4-7 fits readers’ needs perfectly.
- Memory- Memory (RAM) options are limited on a tablet and there is no option to upgrade later. Consider what you use the tablet for and choose a device with an appropriate amount of RAM. For instance, if you are going to edit photos or video on the device you want memory in the 8GB to 16GB range at a minimum.
- Processor- The CPU dictates the speed and power of your tablet. The strength of your desired processor really is dependent on what you want to use the tablet for. - Cameras- Most tablets come with one or two cameras. One faces the rear of the tablet allowing you to use the tablet as a camera. When you want to take photographs ensure that you pick a model with top of the range color contrast along with high definition. We recommend the Apple iPad Mini 4.
- Audio- While most tablet owners use headphones, there are times when it is necessary to use the internal tablet speakers.
